When a person thus turns away from the Supreme Lord, he forgets his eternal constitutional position as a servant of the Lord. Therefore, an intelligent person should engage unflinchingly in pure devotional service to the Lord, under the guidance of a genuine Guru, whom he should accept as his worshipable deity and as his very life and soul. The solution is to move towards service to Krishna, and we can do this by rendering service to a bona fide Guru which is the manifistation of Krishna's mercy.
